Kohima: The Kohima Lotha Hoho installed a new leadership team on June 30 at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima. Twelve office bearers will lead the organization for the 2026-2029 term. K. N. Mhonthung Lotha returns as chairman. Five advisors will also serve alongside the new board.
Nagaland Chief Minister's advisor Chumben Murry attended as the special guest. He urged the new representatives to prioritize community welfare. He also addressed the national Viksit Bharat 2027 initiative. Murry told the assembly, "we should not be left behind and the younger generation should be prepared and ready to contribute."
Officials reviewed the organization's business before the installation. Khyojamo Tungoe shared the Jubilee 2025 audit report. Outgoing secretary S. Chonbemo Lotha and treasurer L. Yanremo Mozhui delivered the financial reports for 2024-2026. Rev. Dr. K. Benry Lotha performed the dedicatory prayer for the new team. The event concluded with a discussion on community interests and a vote of thanks from Jonas Yanthan.
