KIIT Founder Achyuta Samanta Receives AAPI Award in Florida

Shillong: Achyuta Samanta earned top honors in Florida. The founder of KIIT, KIMS, and KISS accepted the AAPI Award for Transformational Social Work and Indo-US Partnership at APICON 2026 in Tampa.

AAPI President Dr. Amit Chakrabarty handed over the trophy to Samanta. About 3,000 doctors watched the ceremony. The group represents over 1.2 lakh physicians of Indian origin across the United States. They recognized Samanta for his visionary philanthropy and his help during the Global Health Summit 2026.
