Itanagar: Itanagar is preparing to host the third edition of the Best of the Best dance competition on May 22 and 23. This underground event attracts performers from the Northeast and other parts of India to showcase their skills in hip-hop, popping, and b-boying.
Ahead of the grand finale, which takes place on May 23 at the Artisan-cum-Handicraft Exhibition Centre, event organizers welcomed a team of renowned judges and choreographers to Donyi Polo Airport. The visiting experts include BEDROC, JASIKA, POPPIN TICKO, and BBOY KAAMIL.
The competition is led by Nangbia Chanda, a local dancer often called the Popping Girl of Arunachal Pradesh. She gained national prominence after appearing as a finalist on India's Got Talent in 2015 and performing on Dance Plus Season 2.
Event head Chasom Bosai described the gathering as a cultural festival designed to highlight hidden talent. He encouraged the public to attend the performances, noting that admission for spectators is free.
