IIMC Aizawl Opens Recruitment for 51 Faculty and Teaching Roles

Aizawl: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication has launched a recruitment drive to fill 51 vacancies across its campuses, including the Aizawl branch in Mizoram. The openings consist of 26 assistant professor positions and 25 academic-cum-teaching associate roles. These opportunities are open to qualified candidates who meet specific educational and professional standards.

Candidates applying for the assistant professor role must hold a master's degree in a relevant field with at least 55 percent marks. Applicants are also required to have cleared the National Eligibility Test or possess a Ph.D. degree. Furthermore, the institute mandates a minimum of three years of teaching or industry experience. Successful candidates in this category will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 57,700.

For those pursuing the academic-cum-teaching associate positions, the institute requires either a master's degree or a graduate degree combined with a postgraduate diploma in a relevant discipline. Applicants with a Ph.D. or those who have cleared the NET will receive preference. These roles require at least one year of experience and offer a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000.

Prospective applicants must submit their curriculum vitae and a completed application form by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2026. Submissions can be sent via email to recruitmentiimc2024@gmail.com or delivered to the Deputy Registrar at the JNU New Campus in New Delhi. The institute noted that applications must include a Rs. 500 fee, which can be paid via a demand draft or an online bank transfer. Regarding the submission process, the official notice stated, "Application complete in all respect should reach to the Deputy Registrar, IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, JNU New Campus, New Delhi 110067 latest by 5.00 p.m. of 30th June, 2026."
