ICAR-NRC on Mithun Hosts PM-KISAN Webcast for Local Farmers

Kohima: The ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun in Medziphema hosted a live webcast on June 20 for the release of the 23rd instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including local farmers and representatives from various Self-Help Groups.

Dr. Girish Patil, the director of ICAR-NRC on Mithun, led the session by outlining how the PM-KISAN initiative serves the agricultural community. He detailed several flagship government programs designed to bolster rural development and improve the long-term livelihoods of farmers.
