Guwahati: Basistha Police arrested a prominent drug supplier in Guwahati following an anti-drug operation in the Lalmatia-Beharbari area. Officers took Bokol Gol Mohammad Ali into custody after discovering a stash of illegal narcotics during the raid.
The suspect had allegedly concealed approximately 25 grams of heroin within two hidden compartments inside his vehicle. Police successfully recovered the contraband and seized the car as part of their investigation into the local drug trade.
Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against Ali. Officials stated they are continuing their investigation to trace possible links to a wider drug trafficking network. The arrest marks a recent success in the department's ongoing efforts to curb narcotics trafficking and drug-related crimes throughout the city.
