Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik met with Home Minister Mama Natung at Lok Bhavan this Wednesday to address recent chaos at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. The Governor wants a clean, impartial investigation into reports that the school's director faced intimidation and threats from outside groups.

Parnaik serves as the president of the NERIST Society. He made his stance clear during the meeting. "Any disturbance to the academic environment directly impacts the aspirations and future of students. The interests of students and the reputation of the institution must remain paramount," Parnaik said. He insisted that schools must stay safe for learning.

Home Minister Natung promised a full inquiry into the episode. He stated that the government will track down everyone involved in the disruptions. "All those found responsible for the unruly episode will be dealt with as per law," Natung confirmed. The state remains focused on restoring order to the campus. Officials expect faculty and students to work together to return to normal operations quickly.
