Kohima: Government Primary School in Upper Khomi hosted a joint celebration for World Environment Day and Literary Day on June 5. Organised in partnership with the Upper Khomi Students' Union, the event served as a platform to engage the local youth in conservation efforts.

The initiative sought to promote environmental awareness while encouraging the protection of the natural world. Organisers also aimed to foster a stronger reading culture and inspire literary interest among the student population.
