Kohima: The central government has authorized the diversion of 3.93 hectares of forest land to support a critical energy infrastructure project in Nagaland. This approval allows the state Department of Power to proceed with the construction of a 220KV transmission line.
The new electrical line will connect Dimapur to Kohima, specifically reaching the Zhadima area. This project is expected to enhance power transmission capabilities between the two cities by providing a more robust grid connection.
