Guwahati: A head-on crash left four people seriously injured in Guwahati's Betkuchi neighborhood on July 9. A goods-laden truck slammed into a private vehicle. The impact wrecked both machines.
Emergency crews rushed the victims to a nearby hospital. Medics describe their condition as serious. Police officers arrived at the scene quickly to clear the wreckage and start an investigation into the cause of the wreck.
Traffic stalled as crews worked to clear the road. Normalcy eventually returned to the area. Authorities have not yet identified the victims, but police state, "Their condition is reported to be serious."
