Kohima: The Federal Government of Nagaland has terminated Kudukhoyi Vero from active national service, citing a need to uphold discipline and integrity within the organization. Vero served as the rali wali kilonser and was responsible for managing financial affairs in the Kohima Town area.
Leadership within the government stated that Vero misused his authority by issuing official challans under the name of the Chaplee Kilonser. The decision to remove him followed his persistent failure to submit collected funds to the government treasury, which officials described as a clear violation of established procedures.
The Council of Kilonsers officially relieved Vero of all duties and responsibilities effective immediately. The FGN issued a formal warning to the public, advising citizens not to recognize or engage with the former official in any capacity on behalf of the government.
