Guwahati: A man is fighting for his life after a brutal fall from a tree in Assam’s Nagaon district. He was working for a local timber trader named Nur Ali at the time of the accident. The victim, who was already feeling sick, plummeted to the ground and suffered shattered bones in his arms and legs.

The man now sits in critical condition. His family says the employer forced him to work and then abandoned him when things went wrong. The trader refused to cover any medical bills. The victim's daughter filed a formal report at the Juria Police Station to force accountability.

She told authorities, "The timber trader refused to pay for his treatment following the accident."

Tensions are high in Mahguri. The family claims Ali threatened them after the fall, warning them to drop the issue or face the consequences. Juria police confirmed they have the complaint and are digging into the case. Officials have yet to hear a side of the story from the accused trader.
