Election Commission Launches ECINET Portal for Voter Services

Kohima: The Election Commission of India has launched ECINET. This unified platform consolidates electoral services into one web portal and mobile application. The app is ready for download on Android and iOS devices today.

Voters can now handle registration, fix roll errors, or update residence details through their phones. The tool lets people replace lost ID cards and register as overseas electors. You can track application status, grab your e-EPIC, and look up details on local electoral officers.

The platform supports the Special Intensive Revision process. It allows users to submit forms online and verify if their names appear on the latest rolls. The ECI aims to boost efficiency and transparency for all users. Officials hope this move makes life easier for the public. The commission stated that the integration of services is "aimed at improving accessibility, efficiency, transparency and citizen participation."

Citizens can use the Book a Call with BLO feature to talk directly to their Booth Level Officers. The system also links to the National Grievance Redressal System. Users can file appeals against registration officers and track complaints in real time. The commission encourages everyone to download the app for a hassle-free experience.
