East Dimapur Town Council to Host Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Kohima: The East Dimapur Town Council is running a free anti-rabies vaccination camp for local pets. The event kicks off June 26 at the EDTC office starting at 9 am. Show up on time.

The council is working alongside the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services in Dimapur to get the job done. This joint effort aims to curb the spread of rabies while keeping both animals and the public safe.

Pet owners and animal caretakers in the area need to bring their cats and dogs to the site. The council stated, "The council has therefore requested all pet owners and animal caretakers within their jurisdiction to bring their cats and dogs for vaccination to help prevent rabies and promote public health and animal welfare."
