Kohima: Dimapur residents receiving state and national pension aid must head to the District Welfare Officer’s building to collect their money. Payments start June 25. The office sits right across from the Garo Church in Eralibill.
Officials already sent the payment schedule to local Anganwadi workers. Each sector has a specific time to show up. Everyone needs to bring a photocopy of their BPL card, their Aadhaar card, and the first page of their bank book.
The department insists on strict compliance. They stated: "Aadhaar must be seeded to the bank account." Failure to provide these records could lead to a permanent fix. Staff warned that anyone failing to follow these rules will see their names stripped from the list for all future payouts.
