Kohima: The District Employment Exchange in Dimapur is set to host a Mega Job Fair on June 19 to connect educated youth with private sector opportunities. Organized by the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the event will take place at the District Employment Exchange office in Purana Bazar from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This initiative is a collaborative effort involving Talent Acquaintance and the AIDA-Don Bosco Job Placement Network. Organizers have confirmed that more than 1,200 openings are available through a prominent healthcare BPO firm based in Bengaluru. Selected applicants can expect to receive on-the-spot job offers during the event.
Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 32 years old. Required qualifications include a 10+2 certificate, a diploma, or a graduation degree, though individuals with BE or B.Tech degrees are excluded from these specific openings. Regarding the upcoming recruitment drive, the District Employment Officer has appealed to eligible youth to "participate and take advantage of the employment opportunity."
