Kohima: Dimapur Police have formed a Special Investigation Team to conduct a thorough inquiry into a case involving the alleged sexual harassment of a minor. Authorities acted quickly following the victim's statement to locate and apprehend the two individuals suspected of the crime.
The suspects, 43-year-old O. Watimeren Jamir and 37-year-old Tsuktimongba Ao, are currently in police custody. Officers are conducting further interrogations to gather more information regarding the incident.
Law enforcement officials have issued a stern appeal to the public and the media to protect the privacy of the victim. They emphasized that disclosing any information that might identify the child is a serious offense punishable by law.
