Kohima: REACHA kicked off a new vocational training initiative in Dimapur. Supported by the IIFL Foundation and Assam Rifles, the project aims to boost local job prospects. It targets industry-ready skills. Organizers want to pull local residents into sustainable career paths.
The training covers the hospitality sector. Students learn through classroom lessons, role plays, and hands-on demonstrations. The group claims it offers practical knowledge for immediate use. A press release stated the program is "creating awareness of career oriented opportunities" while helping locals access specific training.
Batch 1 already includes 46 students at the Nagaland Centre. This group splits into 25 trainees in the Homestay Host Programme and 21 students focused on Front Office work. Mobilization for Batch 2 is now underway. Recruiters are scouting across Dimapur and the surrounding districts to fill these upcoming spots.
