Kohima: A free skill development program in Dimapur concluded on May 18 after training 80 participants in the art of commercial baking. Organized by the group Vision for Change, the sessions ran over two weeks starting May 4 and were designed specifically to support unemployed youth.

The course focused on providing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in baking. By equipping students with these vocational abilities, organizers hope to boost local self-employment rates and provide new livelihood opportunities for those in need.

The organizers thanked the trainers for their dedication to the program's success. Following the conclusion of the sessions, they called on government officials, community leaders, and potential donors to back future initiatives that support skill building for economically disadvantaged members of society.
