Dibrugarh Customer Reports Mouldy Sweets at Let's Go Outlet

Guwahati: Bandana Gogoi bought a batch of sweets from Let's Go on HS Road this Wednesday. The Raning Gate resident took the treats home to share with her family. Then she pulled them out of the bag. The food was rotten.

Gogoi reported finding a thick layer of mould covering the products. She claimed the items carried an unpleasant odour and were totally unfit for human consumption. The family did not eat the tainted goods.

She took her concerns to the Food Safety Department immediately. Gogoi filed a formal complaint, demanding the agency take action against the popular establishment for poor hygiene. She wants the city to enforce stricter quality controls on perishable goods.

Officials have yet to verify these claims. The management of Let's Go has not provided a response to the allegations. The Food Safety Department will now investigate the shop to see if the owners broke any state health regulations.
