Kohima: Nagaland pediatric dentists visited Angel Home and Prodigals Home on June 25 to provide urgent dental care. The team worked with 45 children living with intellectual disabilities or visual impairments. Dentists examined every child during the outreach event.

The team applied Acidulated Phosphate Fluoride gel and Silver Diamine Fluoride to prevent decay. They focused on building better hygiene routines for the residents. Caregivers received specific training to help the children brush daily. The team left posters at both homes to serve as visual reminders. Maintaining good oral health helps these kids avoid serious pain. It is a simple but vital step for their long-term well-being.
