Delhi Public School Dimapur Honours CBSE 2026 Academic Achievers

Kohima: Delhi Public School Dimapur (DPSD) hosted a formal ceremony on May 19 to celebrate the academic achievements of students who excelled in the 2026 CBSE Senior Secondary Examination. The event highlighted the institution's ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of academic rigor, inclusive education, and holistic development.

During the proceedings, 91 students who achieved scores of 80 percent or higher were honored for their hard work. Recognition was particularly significant for top performers, with six students scoring 95 percent or above receiving individual cash awards of 25,000. Additionally, 14 students who earned between 90 and 93.8 percent were granted awards of 15,000 each.

Among the standout achievers, Samrat Das led the school with an impressive 97.6 percent. Stream-specific honors were awarded to Sangya, who topped the Commerce department with 95.2 percent, and Yevino, who secured the highest marks in the Science stream with 95 percent.

Principal G. Mala praised the graduates for their diligence and acknowledged the vital role played by teachers and families in supporting their success. Dr. Aotoshi, the pro vice chairman, noted that these students demonstrated a commendable ability to balance their studies with co-curricular activities. He emphasized that strong collaboration between the school and parents is essential for developing disciplined and resilient individuals ready for future challenges.

The event was attended by school leadership, including chairman S. I. Jamir, treasurer Maronen, and staff members, alongside parents. Reflections on the students' journeys were shared by parents Atila Longkumer, Gentleson Vashum, and Vikeyie Kennao, marking a celebratory end to the academic milestone.
