DCEF Marks Two Years of Ministry at Naga Hospital

Kohima: The Detox Centre Evangelical Fellowship (DCEF) of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) celebrated its second foundation day this past Sunday at the NHAK Auditorium. The event featured speakers and members reflecting on the group's mission to drive spiritual growth among patients and staff.

Rev Vezopa Rhakho, pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, served as the primary speaker, while Dr Sungtimen Jamir, who leads the NHAK Detox Centre, provided remarks. Rovi Wezah opened the gathering with an invocation. Khriehuzo Lohe detailed the history of the fellowship, followed by a session of Bible readings, prayers, and personal testimonies.

The DCEF centers its operations on spiritual cleansing and Christ-centered living. It pushes members to abandon bitterness and sin in favor of daily devotion and fasting. The group states its primary purpose is "to lead people towards a life of spiritual cleansing, Christ-centred living and passionate evangelism."

Beyond internal reflection, the fellowship carries out wide-ranging objectives. These include sharing the Gospel, training leaders, and supporting those in addiction or family crisis. The organization plans to expand its reach by hosting seminars, distributing Christian literature, and partnering with local churches to foster peace and unity within the community.
