Imphal: Daichuipao officially launched his campaign for the 51-Saitu (ST) Assembly Constituency today. He stood before a crowd at a blessing and declaration event in Siangai Namdai Village, located in the Bungte Chiru Sub-Division of Kangpokpi district.
Supporters filled the venue. Political leaders, former ADC members, social workers, and village authority representatives showed up. Youth, student leaders, and women from across the district joined civil society representatives to back his bid for the 2027 polls. Speakers labeled the candidate a young, dynamic force focused on unity and development.
Rev. Ashapou Thaimei, the pastor of Kaiphundaijang Baptist Church, led the blessing ceremony. He prayed for the candidate's wisdom during the upcoming political road ahead. Supporters believe he can help restore normalcy in Manipur.
Daichuipao thanked the crowd for their help and prayers. He urged the diverse communities within his constituency to unite behind his platform for the future. He told the gathering, "Let us every community work together for peace, work together for unity, together for a better 51-Saitu AC and our State Manipur too."
