CRPF Chief Meets Manipur Governor to Discuss State Security Strategy

Imphal: CRPF Director General Gyanendra Pratap Singh met with Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla in Imphal on Friday to evaluate the paramilitary force's strategy for tackling insurgency. The meeting occurred shortly after an attack in the Kangpokpi district left three people, including a woman, dead.

The CRPF leadership discussed efforts to improve operational readiness and strategic coordination with the state administration. According to a post from the official Lok Bhavan account, the officers "apprised the Governor of the prevailing security" situation and the roadmap being implemented to restore normalcy.

During the session, the delegation outlined steps being taken to maintain law and order and protect local citizens. Discussions focused on reinforcing security measures to counter emerging threats. Both the security establishment and the state government reaffirmed their commitment to stabilizing the region and ensuring public safety.
