Agartala: Members of the Congress party gathered at the Salbagan Camp to voice their opposition against an alleged assault carried out by Central Reserve Police Force personnel. The demonstration focused on the conduct of the security forces and the demand for accountability regarding the incident.
Following the protest, party representatives submitted a formal deputation to the Deputy Inspector General at the camp. This document detailed their grievances and called for a thorough investigation into the matter. According to the party, the protest was organized because "Congress leaders protest CRPF assault."
