Community groups condemn brutal robbery of 96-year-old man

Kohima: Lotha CSOs are demanding justice after an unknown attacker robbed and assaulted 96-year-old Ekyimo Ngullie on July 7. The incident occurred in Longla village and has triggered widespread outrage across Wokha District.

The Lotha Eloe Hoho, Longla Village Students’ Union, and Wokha District Senior Citizens Association issued sharp condemnations today. They called the act inhumane. The Wokha District Senior Citizens Association stated that "there is no place for such heartless acts in a civilized society."

Community leaders urged the public to stay alert. They want the police to track down the criminals immediately. The students' union asked anyone with leads to talk to investigators. Officials are currently hunting for suspects while families of the victim call for peace and safety in the area.
