Commercial LPG Prices Increased by Rs 53.50 in Meghalaya

Shillong: Commercial LPG cylinder prices in Meghalaya have increased by Rs 53.50 effective Monday. While business rates have climbed, domestic LPG cylinder costs for households in Shillong remain unchanged, according to Khasi Pnar Gas Agency proprietor RL Blah.

The updated rate list from the Indian Oil Corporation Limited brings the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder to Rs 3,377. Meanwhile, the 47.5-kg cylinder is now priced at Rs 8,437. Specialized commercial variants also saw price adjustments, with the 19-kg Nano Cut cylinder set at Rs 3,526, the 19-kg XtraTeJ at Rs 3,399.50, and the 47.5-kg XtraTeJ at Rs 8,493.

Revised costs for the Free Trade LPG category include various options. A 5-kg new connection is priced at Rs 1,836.50 with a refill at Rs 892.50. The 5-kg FTL POS new connection is Rs 1,850.50, and the 5-kg FTL POS composite connection is Rs 3,443.50. Additionally, the 2-kg FTL POS new connection is set at Rs 1,092.50, while its refill charge stands at Rs 384.50.
