Shillong: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will inaugurate a 50 KW solar power plant at St. Mary's Higher Secondary School in Shillong today at 2 PM. The project is designed to encourage sustainable habits and boost awareness of renewable energy sources among local students and the surrounding community.
Earlier in the day, a cultural event will take place at 11 AM in the Durbar Hall of Lok Bhavan. This program honors the foundation days of Sikkim, Goa, and Telangana, which fall on May 16, May 30, and June 2 respectively.
