Kohima: Students at Charis High Academy turned theory into hardware on June 20. The Chümoukedima school hosted its annual science exhibition to test young minds against modern tech challenges. Projects spanned three age categories.
Dr. Debarun Dhar Purkayastha from NIT Nagaland judged the work. He told the crowd that the seeds of great scientific breakthroughs are sown in classrooms of young innovators who dare to look at the world differently. He urged the students to stop memorizing equations and start chasing real answers.
The judging panel included Purkayastha and NAGABOTS supervisor Bendangtoshi Longchar. They reviewed inventions aimed at moving beyond basic concepts. School administrator Chanmayo J. Aier closed the event. He challenged the kids to fix up local Naga traditions using the modern tools they showcased throughout the day.
