Kohima: The Chakhesang Students Union has issued a formal 14-day ultimatum to the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited regarding the Kohima-Jessami road. The union is calling for urgent progress on the construction of the NH-29 two-lane project, specifically focusing on Package II of the route.

The organization expressed concern over the current state of the infrastructure and expects the agency to address their demands within the two-week timeframe. Failure to see improvements on the designated stretch may lead to further action from the student body.
