Imphal: Central Agricultural University in Manipur is hunting for three new assistant professors. The school needs specialists in Genetics and Plant Breeding, Animal Nutrition, and Vegetable Science. Each position pays at Academic Level 10, starting at Rs. 57,700.
Applicants need a master's degree in their field with at least 55 percent marks. Candidates must also clear the National Eligibility Test handled by bodies like the ICAR or UGC. A Ph.D. with published research papers can serve as an alternative to the test. Teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.
The university requires a fee of Rs. 1,000 for UR and OBC applicants. SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates pay nothing. Officials stated, "The online submission portal will remain accessible fill 13th July, 2026."
