Central Agricultural University Hires Project Assistant in Imphal

Imphal: Central Agricultural University in Imphal is looking for a Project Assistant. The role is a contractual position. It falls under an ANRF-PMECRG funded project focused on the design and development of a continuous two-stage frying system for making healthy snacks.

Applicants need a first-class degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering. Holding an M.Tech with NET or GATE qualification is a bonus, as is previous research experience in machine design.

Candidates must show up for a walk-in interview on July 22, 2026. The session happens at the Conference Hall, College of Food Technology, CAU, Lamphelpat. Interviews start at 10.00 am, but reporting starts at 9 am.

Bring a typed application with two passport-sized photos. You must also carry original documents, marksheets, and self-attested photocopies.
