Central Administrative Tribunal sets hybrid court session in Kohima

Kohima: The Central Administrative Tribunal Guwahati Bench is bringing its court to Kohima. Officials scheduled the sessions for October 8 and 9, 2026. The tribunal will operate through a hybrid format during these two days.

A Division Bench will oversee the proceedings. Rajinder Singh Dogra serves as the member for judicial affairs. Mallika Arya serves as the member for administrative affairs. Dogra will handle the hearings in person at the Kohima site. Arya will join the bench virtually from a remote location.

Dogra plans to land in Kohima on October 7. He will stay through the proceedings and head out on October 11, 2026. The tribunal has reached out to the Government of Nagaland for help. They need a venue ready for the hybrid setup.

State officials must provide the necessary tech. This includes computers, printers, scanners, and copying gear at the location. The tribunal confirmed the request for, "necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Circuit Court." This ensures the technical requirements are met for the two-day session.
