Bus Crash Injures 40 Tea Workers in Assam

Guwahati: A bus carrying tea garden workers crashed in the Borsinga area of Udharbond on June 22. More than 40 people suffered injuries in the wreck. The vehicle was headed from Larzsing Tea Estate to Palorbond when it lost control and hit the road. Everyone scrambled to help.

Local residents rushed to the site to pull victims from the wreckage. They moved the injured to Udharbond Hospital for urgent treatment. Medical staff reported that several victims remain in critical condition. Hospital sources confirmed the severity, noting that "several of the injured are in critical condition and are undergoing medical care."

Officers from the Udharbond Police Station arrived shortly after the crash. They took charge of the scene and assisted the locals with rescue efforts. Investigators are now working to figure out why the driver lost control. Police continue to monitor the situation while the injured receive care.
