Bitu Kakati Wins Regional Tech Award for Assamese Content

Guwahati: Bitu Kakati from Sapmari village in Morigaon took home the Future Skills Creator Award. He won the prize in the Tech Category at the North East Creator Circuit 2026. Kakati runs a popular social media channel under the name Tech Axominfo. He creates content in Assamese covering Artificial Intelligence, gadgets, mobile apps, and digital tips. His work reaches over 1.1 lakh followers on Instagram.

The North East Creator Circuit 2026 brought together more than 125 digital creators, marketing pros, brand reps, and industry experts. The summit focused on growing the creator economy across the region through panel discussions, networking, and brand collaborations. It concluded with the Creator Icons Awards ceremony. Organizers noted the importance of the event, stating it was "aimed at promoting the growing creator economy in the Northeast."

This win puts a spotlight on Morigaon. It proves that Assamese creators are gaining real ground in the technology sector. Kakati remains one of the primary voices for digital innovation in the Assamese language.
