Guwahati: Barpeta police smashed a cyber fraud operation this week. Officers arrested three men during a raid in the district. The suspects are Rashidul Islam, Annas Paramanik, and Manjurul Hassan. All three live in Satrakanara village near the Baghbar Police Station.

Police seized three ATM cards, two mobile phones, and a stash of cash. Investigators believe these items link directly to the group's digital scamming schemes. The operation is part of a wider statewide push against electronic theft. Officials stated, "The operation is part of Assam Police's continued crackdown on cyber criminals across the state."

Detectives are hunting for more leads. They want to know if this crew belongs to a larger network. The probe remains open as police track down potential partners in the racket.
