Imphal: The BABINA Group of Companies launched two new books on Wednesday at The Classic Grande in Chingmeirong East. The publications detail the life of Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Thangjam Dhabali Singh. One is an autobiography titled Microscope to Milestones: A Pathologist’s Journey Beyond the Lab. The other, a biography titled Korougi Mangal, was written by Lourembam Orenkumar.
Former RIMS Director Prof. Ng. Bijoy Singh served as the chief guest for the event. Guests of honor included former Dhanamanjuri University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Rajmuhon and IIIT Manipur Director Prof. Krishnan Baskar. Medical experts, academics, and literary figures attended the function.
Dr. Thangjam Dhabali Singh explained that his autobiography tracks his growth from childhood through his medical career and business ventures. He stated, "My autobiography documents my journey from childhood to my career in medicine, entrepreneurship and institution-building."
Pradip Phanjoubam wrote the foreword to the autobiography and provided a formal review of both works. He praised the books for chronicling the life of a professional who expanded his reach well beyond the lab.
