AYO Volunteers Intercept Truck Carrying Illegal Liquor in Kohima

Kohima: Volunteers from the Angami Youth Organization (AYO), the Tenyimia Youth Organization (TYO), and the Jakhama Youth Organization (JYO) intercepted a truck loaded with Indian Made Foreign Liquor near Mt Tabor. The groups successfully stopped the vehicle and secured the illicit cargo.

Following the interception, officials from the organizations met with excise department representatives on June 4. The group handed over the full consignment to excise authorities at the AYO office in Kohima. A spokesperson for the group stated, "AYO, TYO and JYO officials, along with excise department officials during the handing over of consignment at AYO office in Kohima on June 4."
