Axis Bank Opens First Branch in Chunlikha

Kohima: Axis Bank planted its flag in Chunlikha on July 10. Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu Japheth Woch opened the facility as the special guest. The bank now holds the title of the first institution to operate in this rural block and the wider district.

Woch challenged the bank staff to teach financial literacy to the villagers. He asked locals to provide a friendly, safe home for the incoming employees. "Axis Bank team to impart financial literacy to villagers and customers under Chunlikha Block and beyond," Woch stated during his address.

The ceremony moved along quickly. Ekonbeni Ovung from the Wokha branch chaired the event. Poujaulung, the Cluster Head for Dimapur, spoke for the bank, and Neiketoulo Norbert, the Chunlikha Branch Head, finished the day with a vote of thanks.
