ATDUM Awards Winners of Social Media Assistive Technology Competition

Imphal: The All Tribal Disabled Union Manipur (ATDUM) hosted a prize distribution ceremony at the Manipur Press Club in Imphal to honor winners of its recent assistive technology awareness competition. The event brought together union members and participants to celebrate the achievements of individuals who used social media to share their personal stories.

ATDUM General Secretary Chongsing Koireng explained that the initiative encouraged persons with disabilities to document their daily lives and the hurdles they face in modern society. By sharing these experiences on Facebook between May 16 and May 30, participants sought to build confidence and highlight their resilience.

Winning entries were determined by public engagement metrics, specifically the number of views, shares, and likes each post received. During the ceremony, Chapram Lokeshori Devi earned the Best Content award for her impactful submission. Dominic Vanlalpekhlua received recognition for the Most Reached Post, while Janoiya Soubam Devi was honored for the Most Shared Post.
