Guwahati: Harshit Bora is dead. The Class XII Commerce student at Shrimanta Shankar Academy in Dispur lost his life following a wreck on Friday night. Bora was driving home from Down Town Hospital at 9:00 pm after visiting his grandfather who was admitted there for care.
First responders rushed the teenager back to the hospital after the crash. He fought for his life but succumbed to his injuries at 3:00 am on Saturday. The boy had been a student at the academy since Class I and was the only child of his parents.
The school management, teachers, and student community expressed deep condolences to his family and friends following his tragic demise. The community is grieving the loss of a student who was, according to school authorities, an "outgoing Class XII Commerce student."
