Imphal: Assam Rifles Public School in Maram recently held a four-day summer camp to encourage holistic development among students from Class I to X. Running from June 1 to June 4, the program focused on enhancing creativity, teamwork, and physical fitness through a variety of hands-on learning experiences.

Students engaged in diverse activities throughout the week. The opening day featured sessions on phonetics, art and craft, and daily living skills such as sewing buttons and winnowing grains. Subsequent days included creative workshops like fireless cooking, talent shows, and science experiments designed to challenge student innovation.

Environmental awareness and physical activity became the focus during the final stages of the camp. Participants took part in gardening demonstrations, outdoor games, and trekking expeditions to learn about nature conservation. The school noted that the initiative provided a valuable platform for students to grow, stating the event served as an "excellent platform for holistic development and meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom environment."
