Itanagar: The Assam Rifles held a motorcycle rally in the Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh this week to mark the death anniversary of Havildar Hangpan Dada. Approximately 70 participants, comprised of military personnel and local residents, rode from the Deomali helipad to the soldier's memorial in Borduria on Monday.

Havildar Dada served with the 35 Rashtriya Rifles in 2016 when he lost his life near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. During a combat mission in the Naugam sector of the Kupwara district, he led his unit against infiltrators and neutralized four terrorists before he was killed. His actions remain a symbol of courage for the armed forces.

At the conclusion of the event, soldiers gathered at the Borduria memorial to offer floral tributes. The rally served to promote messages of peace and national unity while honoring the legacy of the fallen soldier and the broader sacrifices made by military personnel.
