Guwahati: Sribhumi Police intercepted 30,000 Yaba tablets yesterday. The haul carries a street value of roughly Rs 3 crore. Officers arrested three suspects on the spot during the operation. This bust marks a major win for the ongoing crackdown on narcotics across the state.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the force on social media. He highlighted the police effort to stop the drugs before they hit the streets. Sarma noted, "Every shipment has a destination, this one was the police station."

The state government continues its #AssamAgainstDrugs campaign with heavy focus. Investigators are working to track the source of the load. They also want to identify every person linked to the trafficking ring. Officials intend to keep the pressure on local dealers.
