Guwahati: Karbi Anglong police intercepted a vehicle headed toward Guwahati and seized 3.049 kilograms of morphine. The illegal shipment, which carries an estimated market value of ₹3 crore, was recovered as part of an ongoing enforcement push against drug trafficking in the region.
Officials confirmed that one suspect was taken into custody during the operation. While the investigation remains in the early stages, authorities are continuing their inquiries into the source and destination of the haul. According to officials, one alleged drug trafficker was arrested in connection with the seizure.
