Assam Police Bust Jagiroad Heroin Dealer

Guwahati: Police arrested Abhijit Majumdar of Sonapur in Jagiroad for peddling drugs. Officers seized 21.97 grams of heroin during the operation. He had 18 containers of the substance on him. This bust is part of a wider crackdown on trafficking across Assam.

Authorities have ramped up surveillance and enforcement across several districts to stop the flow of synthetic and pharmaceutical drugs. Security agencies carry out raids daily.
