Assam and Arunachal Pradesh Strengthen Inter-State Cooperation

Itanagar: Assam Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Border Protection, Atul Bora, traveled to Arunachal Pradesh today. Accompanied by a delegation of senior government officials, Bora met with state leadership to build on the existing partnership between the two northeastern states.

Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein hosted the delegation to discuss ongoing efforts to coordinate on infrastructure, governance, and border area development. The meeting aimed to refine cooperation strategies that support the progress of both regions.

Regarding the visit, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein stated, "Looking forward to productive interactions that will further strengthen collaboration and advance the shared progress of our two States."

This visit highlights a renewed focus on regional unity. Both administrations intend to leverage these discussions to streamline development projects and maintain stability along their shared borders.
