Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Minister Dasanglu Pul launched the official tourism website for Anjaw district on June 4, aiming to elevate the region's profile for travelers. Developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) District Centre, the platform functions as a comprehensive digital portal for visitors to explore the district's natural scenery, local traditions, and trekking routes.

The website provides essential information for trip planning, including details on local festivals, adventure opportunities, and available accommodation such as homestays. Officials believe the initiative will increase the district's visibility and support the growth of sustainable tourism in the region, which shares borders with China and Myanmar.

During the launch, Minister Pul emphasized the importance of this digital milestone for the area. She stated, "The website will serve as a digital gateway to one of Arunachal Pradesh's most scenic and culturally rich destinations, enhancing accessibility and encouraging sustainable tourism."

The minister also encouraged local residents to participate in the effort to promote the unique beauty of their home. Travelers can now access the portal to plan their visits and learn more about the cultural heritage of the area at www.anjawtourism.nic.in.
