Itanagar: Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced the completion of a major district-wise review exercise across Arunachal Pradesh on May 23. This project marks the first time such an extensive governance initiative has taken place across the state.

The final phase of the review included assessments of Tirap, Changlang, East Kameng, Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley, Anjaw, Tawang, and West Kameng. Throughout the process, officials examined critical areas such as infrastructure development, staffing shortages, administrative obstacles, and public grievances.

Khandu conducted the project in three distinct phases with participation from local MLAs, deputy commissioners, and senior government staff. By gathering direct feedback from the field, the administration aims to resolve real issues and refine future development planning. The Chief Minister thanked all involved parties for their cooperation and noted that the findings will serve as a foundation to strengthen overall governance in the region.
